Head of eCommerce (Luxury)
2-TIMES is an invite-only luxury online retailer and exclusive event-based private shopping service. The platform seamlessly integrates eCommerce with branded content, creating a unique experience that connects a curated community of private clients, luxury brands, and contemporary art partners. Co-founded by Alex and Luke Anton, 2-TIMES operates across the Asia Pacific region, with its headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, catering to a global audience while focusing on exclusivity and luxury.
Candidates must be based in or relocate within proximity of one of 2-TIMES office locations: Hong Kong (Central), Singapore (Rochor), or Melbourne (CBD).
For global applicants, relocation to Asia is required for this position.
Reporting to our VP of Technology, the Head of eCommerce will help oversee 2-TIMES’ global portfolio of digital products, supporting the definition a flexible roadmap for our eCommerce technology platform in order to drive improvement in visitor conversion, repeat purchasing, and cross-brand selling of our luxury designers and products. He/She/They will work closely with the design team to improve UI/UX that articulates the group’s POV, crafting compelling experiences that differentiate 2-TIMES from its key competitors.
He/She/They will lead the implementation of site-wide digital merchandising strategies for the retail/eCommerce business that focus on searchability, user engagement, and frictionless shopping – bridging technical and business worlds to design scalable product enhancements.
The ideal candidate is experienced in managing an eCommerce business across numerous functions counting merchandising, marketing and operations – leading and overseeing strategy, and executing tactics to boost traffic and revenue growth across our online retail business, whilst supporting global PR, communications and events teams on varying digital initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Proven success establishing & testing dashboards/digital frameworks, and managing all related schedules, milestones and resources to ensure continuous improvement
- Identifying opportunities to enhance our eCommerce user experience, margins and new lines of business – presenting supporting cases for such opportunities to various stakeholders for alignment on priorities
- Management of the digital roadmap for 2-TIMES’ eCommerce platform capabilities, including but not limited to: site navigation, content development, promotional campaigns, order management, cart, checkout, payment, and fulfilment
- Conducting customer and market research, A/B testing, client and user feedback, and competitive analysis
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members, business stakeholders, and technical teams during the discovery process to assess value, technical dependencies and feasibility of both existing and new product features
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc.)
- 7-10 years of experience in product management within an eCommerce branded environment – experience with retailers in a luxury specialty/multi-brand space is advantageous
- Demonstrated understanding of the Chinese online experience, including but not limited to WeChat, JD.com & Tmall environments, with the ability to identify and recommend key improvements and benefits as a thought leader for 2-TIMES across numerous external platforms
- Web, App & Mac–savviness, with working knowledge of Salesforce, Google, Microsoft and Adobe suites a must
- Proficiency using Sanity and Salesforce CMS’ and in delivering technology products/services in a high-growth environment, handling multiple competing priorities simultaneously, particularly utilizing project management tools like Slack & Notion
- Well-versed in Agile and Scrum methodologies and principles, API architecture and development integrations – hands‑on experience with programming a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to utilise data and metrics to enforce assumptions, recommendations and actions
- Fluency in English (written and verbal). Mandarin, Cantonese or French an asset
- HK/SG/AUS work authorisation required
Salary range (equivalent): HK $80k–100k p/m, plus allowances
