Head of Cockpit (M/F)
Position based at Courbevoie (92), France.
Role
The Head of Cockpit is responsible for the operational deployment, coordination, and day‑to‑day animation of performance cockpits for Projects and Profit Centers across Equans.
The role is strongly hands on and execution oriented, focusing on cross‑functional coordination, country deployment, and user adoption, to ensure cockpits are effectively embedded in operational performance management routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Profit Center and Project Cockpit Deployment
- Closely coordinate with IT, Data, transversal domains (HR, Procurement, Finance, etc.), and country teams to:
- connect and secure data sources
- validate data consistency and reliability
- ensure data availability for operational use
- Actively monitor data quality improvement (completeness, reliability, consistency)
- Lead the deployment of cockpits across countries and business perimeters
- Track deployment progress, adoption levels, and usage maturity
- Adjust actions and priorities based on feedback and rollout performance
- Support project managers, profit center managers, and operational teams in daily usage
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cockpit deployment and usage
- Data Structuring & Quality Improvement (Multi‑Domain)
In close coordination with IT, Data, transversal domains, and Operations:
- Monitor projects related to data modeling and data structuring
- Monitor data sourcing and data availability
- Drive continuous data quality improvement
- Resolve data issues in collaboration with Data and local teams
- Transversal Coordination & User Enablement
- Act as a key interface between different domains for cockpit development and deployment
- Facilitate collaboration between Data, Operations, and support functions
- Train, support, and coach users at different organizational levels on cockpit usage
- Ensure cockpits are embedded in operational management routines (project reviews, profit center performance reviews, controlling routines)
Profile
Education
- Master’s degree (Engineering, Business School, or equivalent)
- Background in performance management, transformation, profit center management, finance, or data is a strong asset
Experience
- 8–12 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:
- performance management
- financial controlling
- operational or business transformation
- profit center / P&L management
- project management / PMO
- Proven experience in multi‑entity, project‑based environments
- Track record of deploying Group‑level tools or initiatives and driving country adoption
- Experience in energy, services, or construction sectors is a strong advantage
- Digital / data experience is a plus
