Head of Business Services

• Implement the strategy and priorities defined by the Chamber of Agriculture
• Participate in the Chamber of Agriculture’s decision-making bodies, including the Management Committee and Executive Board meetings, in cooperation with elected members
• Lead, coordinate, monitor, and oversee the administrative and financial management of development initiatives related to the Business Services Department
• Supervise activities relating to the establishment of young farmers, the transfer of agricultural businesses, business advisory services, and support for farmers in difficulty
• Organize support for CAP declaration submissions
• Lead diversification and short supply chain initiatives, particularly the Bienvenue à la Ferme network
• Manage the department’s teams with the support of team leaders
• Participate in regional working groups related to the department’s activities
• Define the department’s objectives with team leaders and monitor their achievement

Requirements

• Degree in agricultural engineering, a master’s degree in agriculture, or an equivalent qualification
• Significant experience in agricultural development
• Strong facilitation skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork and networking
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, rigorous, and well organized
• Strong negotiation, management, and writing skills
• Category B driving licence required
