Dioxycle pioneers breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals, aiming to reduce CO₂ emissions by over 800 million tons annually – a milestone that represents more than 2 % of global emissions.
Dioxycle’s core innovation is a carbon electrolyzer that uses only electricity and water to transform carbon emissions into valuable chemicals. After completing an industrial‑scale prototype, the company is preparing its first commercial plant in partnership with downstream offtakers.
Your Mission
The head of business development will partner with the CEO, engineering, and strategy teams to spearhead commercial partnership development, go‑to‑market strategy, and stakeholder engagement during the transition from prototype to commercial roll‑out.
- Go‑to‑market and value proposition
- Conduct customer discovery to understand needs and priorities.
- Refine go‑to‑market strategy based on internal intelligence and external engagement.
- Commercial partnerships
- Lead the development of new commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements with key consumer brands and chemical industry players.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and finance to build creative commercial agreements.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Effective communication and reporting
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights.
Abilities and expertise we are looking for
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience (e.g., business development in novel materials or chemicals, sustainability consulting)
- Native‑level English (French not required)
- Exceptional charisma and relationship‑building skills
- Chemical engineering/chemistry/general engineering background is preferred but not required
- Deep understanding and interest in decarbonization
