CIXI is an active mobility startup developing products ranging from the Vigoz — an active vehicle capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h — to electric bicycles. Our goal is to enable our users to remain active during their daily commutes while reducing their ecological footprint. As a Hardware Engineer, you will join the R&D team to play a pivotal role in designing the next phase of the Vigoz: the Explorer. This position offers exceptional technical freedom: you will design your boards from start to finish, make your own design choices, and work on unique projects ranging from power electronics to junction boxes and track testing.

Your Missions:

• End-to-End Electronic Board Design: You will be responsible for component selection, CAD library maintenance, schematic design, routing, and associated simulations.
• Prototyping and Validation: You will manufacture PCBs in our workshop, solder components, and perform validation tests on the produced boards.
• System Integration: You will participate in cable assembly for electrical circuits and test new systems in collaboration with mechanical, firmware, and validation teams.
• Workshop Management: You will maintain the workshop equipment and manage necessary consumables.

To fully thrive in this position, you can rely on :

• PCB Design Mastery: Proficiency in Altium (or equivalent) for routing and schematics, with a strong understanding of PCB constraints.
• Electronic Fundamentals: Ability to perform filtering calculations, design op-amps (AOP) for signal acquisition, and interpret complex datasheets.
• Power Electronics: Solid understanding of motor control to meet the specific needs of our vehicles.
• Methodology and Tools: Experience with electronic simulation tools and measurement equipment, coupled with a good understanding of the V-cycle development process.
• Collaboration in a Multicultural Context: Using your strong English skills to communicate fluently with our teams in a multicultural environment.
