Job Description

Position: GNC Expert. Location: Toulouse or Massy. Attached to the R&D Team, the role supports the rapid growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and technical support in guidance, navigation, and control.
• Support advanced research activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Review and approve technical documents, both internal and with suppliers and customers.
• Lead specific activities linked with research and development of GNC applied to satellites.
• Help develop the technical expertise of the team through the writing of best practices and design guidelines.
• Define test plans, validation strategies, and technological roadmaps linked to feed systems.
• Identify innovative technologies (algorithms, architectures, subsystems, etc.) or methodologies to be further studied.
• Mobilise resources for exploration of innovative technologies and methodologies.
• Represent the company in seminars and forums, sharing expertise and promoting the company’s vision and capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Education: Master’s or PhD in aerospace engineering, robotics, electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience: 10 years in guidance, navigation, and control for satellites, launchers or associated systems, from concepts to design reviews, assembly and testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of the design of a complete GNC system for a satellite (hardware to software).
• Strong experience in GNC systems development, test preparation, and data processing.
• Proficiency in software for GNC and mission analysis design (Matlab–Simulink, STK).
• Expertise in Python and proficiency in embedded software (C/C++).
• Strong technical leadership in multi‑team technical meetings and a high level of agility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and external stakeholders in French and English (B2 minimum).
• Creativity when facing unexpected technical issues (design, assembly, etc.).
