Guest Services Manager

Department: Management

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract

Location: French Alps

Description

As Guest Services Manager, from the moment guests arrive until their departure, you’ll be responsible for their comfort and enjoyment, helping to ensure a smooth and memorable holiday. The role is varied, from welcoming guests at the airport to assisting with any questions or issues that arise in resort.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Wellbeing & Support

Throughout the week, you’ll be at the heart of our guests’ experience, taking responsibility for their comfort and enjoyment. From welcoming them at the airport to addressing any questions or concerns during their stay, you’ll ensure every moment of their holiday runs smoothly.

You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of Chalet Managers and Guest Services Managers, supported by experienced full‑time members of the Le Ski team. Collaboration, guidance, and teamwork are key to success in this role.

As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you’ll make a lasting impression. You’ll accompany them on coach transfers to and from the resort, offering advice, answering questions, and helping them feel excited and confident about their holiday.

You’ll visit guests in their chalets, handling everything from restaurant and activity bookings to more serious concerns such as illness, injuries, or chalet issues. Your aim is to create a seamless, worry‑free experience for every guest.

Alongside hands‑on guest support, you’ll complete key administrative tasks, including reviewing guest feedback forms, ordering lift passes, and preparing departure details.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Customer service experience: If you’ve got a knack for making people feel welcome and looked after, you’re already halfway there!
  • Tech skills: A good level of computer literacy is handy for lift pass ordering and keeping on top of admin tasks.
  • French (optional!): A decent level of French isn’t essential, but it’s a bonus if you can charm the locals.
  • Driving: Occasionally you’ll need to get behind the wheel. You must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years—don’t worry, we provide winter driver training to keep you safe on snowy roads.
  • Availability: You should be free to join us from mid‑November through to the end of April—plenty of time for a full winter adventure!

Benefits

  • Opportunity to live and work in a ski resort environment
  • Daily time off to ski and explore the mountains
  • Work in a sociable, team‑oriented atmosphere
  • Gain valuable experience in hospitality, catering, and customer service
