Role Overview

Group Valuations Officer – (M/F) Permanent

Within the Group Performance Management Department, the Valuations Team coordinates the entire valuation process of the Group’s asset portfolio (€48.9 Bn as at December 31, 2025) and plays an active role in the Group’s financial communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the bi-annual valuation campaign across Europe and the US.
  • Act as a central interface between local teams, external appraisers and auditors.
  • Ensure consistency, robustness and compliance with all relevant valuation standards.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for regional teams on valuation matters including technical topics.
  • Review, analyze and challenge valuation assumptions in collaboration with local teams.
  • Lead and perform the valuation of intangible assets, including service companies and the Westfield trademark.
  • Prepare and present valuation materials to Management Board (including regular reviews with CFO).
  • Support Investor Relations in market communications and Q&A.
  • Contribute to Net Asset Value and Group financial disclosures.
  • Enhance valuation tools and methodologies across the Group.
  • Contribute to process simplification and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a business school, engineering school or a university in Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate valuation, transaction advisory, audit or similar.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, cap rates, IFRS).
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders (management, appraisers, auditors).
  • Advanced analytical and modelling skills (Excel, financial and reporting tools).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluent English.

Recruitment Process

  3. Third interview with the Director of the Department.
