Group Product Manager - Synthetics

Synthetic Testing aims to preemptively detect and prevent issues from ever surfacing to end-users. Through proactive polling of APIs, network paths, critical user journeys, and more, the goal is to identify degraded experience and prevent it from reaching production automatically.

In this role, you will define the vision and roadmap for Datadog’s Synthetics Testing product, driving innovation to address evolving customer needs. You will develop and execute strategies to help customers automatically identify degraded experience and prevent it from reaching production.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead a team of product managers to drive the growth and success of Datadog’s Synthetics Testing products.
2. Develop a deep understanding of Synthetics Testing customers, use cases, and competitors.
3. Co-define and build the next generation of Synthetics Testing features to contribute to the Datadog unified platform and make advanced use cases accessible to all Datadog users.
4. Figure out how to use new technologies to make test creation simpler and more automated for Developers and QA teams.
5. Collaborate with other Product teams in Datadog to maintain and improve Datadog products correlation and help customers identify incidents' root cause and navigate through telemetry faster.
6. Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, support teams, and your own engineering team, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for Synthetics Testing features.

Who You Are:

1. Experience: 7+ years in B2B SaaS Product Management, preferably with a developer-focused or front-end focused product, including 2+ years managing a team of product managers.
2. Leadership: Demonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, and developing product managers or engineers.
3. Customer Partnership: Expertise in working on large-scale products and collaborating effectively with enterprise customers.
4. Technical Expertise: A strong technical background that fosters trust with highly technical customers, engineers, and product managers.
5. Product Development: Skilled in working with designers and engineers to launch and iterate on user-facing SaaS features, particularly in areas like administration or configuration tools.
6. Developer Focus: Experience as a software engineer or product manager for developer tools, with a deep understanding of the development process and what delights developers.
7. Cross-Functional Leadership: Success in leading complex, cross-team initiatives and delivering impactful features that span multiple products.
