Group Marketing Manager H/F
The Head of Marketing leads the marketing team which encompasses tasks: Market analytics, synthetisation, storytelling, content creation, design, project management, digital marketing, AI engagement.
The role requires sound knowledge of a marketing position. Since the holder can rely upon an existing team with existing competencies, certain subjects need stronger focus:
Market analytics
The execution of regular market research with support of external studies to collect trends, market information, competitor information, etc., is key to defining SPIE’s future development direction. Identifying trends and evaluating whether specific subjects should be analysed in more detail are crucial to not missing out on opportunities or to be prepared for upcoming threads. The position holder will work in close relation to the BDMI Director, work on these subjects and accompany the study preparation.
Storytelling
The identified focus areas for development shall be translated into stories that attract customers to the SPIE portfolio. A key function of the position will be to develop the differentiators and selling propositions in close collaboration with representatives of SPIE strategic committees. The objective is to generate enthusiasm for the SPIE offering not only externally but also internally to "win" supporters.
Project Management
Sound project management capabilities with regard to marketing related projects are expected. This means especially meeting deadlines with internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, and animating project governance bodies.
AI Engagement
Given the rising importance of generative AI, an open-minded learning attitude towards this continuously developing powerful tool is expected.
Team Management & Deliverables
In addition to that, team management tasks such as organization, vacation planning, budgeting, etc., are demanded. The function is finally responsible for all deliverables of the Marketing team, including:
- Group commercial brochures (strategic markets, activities, offers)
- Brochures, presentations, and other marketing deliverables
- MarCom projects
- White papers
- Implementation and follow-up of the action plan for Group Marketing
- Participation in the creation of ppt/PDF presentation materials (strategic markets, market studies, offers, management requests, etc.)
- Participation in the creation of other deliverables (e.g. Solutions for Energy Transition Book, Business References)
- Support for key strategic projects: Group Business References project
E.g., proposition and creation of specific MarCom Plans (promoting our business lines and related marketing tools). Presentations and participation to Group Committees (for the MarCom development), and support in the organisation of key events (Investor day, Innovation Day, etc.). Average travel (in EU): ~2/month (Maximum 2-3 days).

- The function requires the willingness and readiness to travel to various SPIE destinations when necessary.
- A strong presence on site in Cergy is expected to be close to the people acting and working at the office.
