An established and growing group operating across the retail, food, beverage, and consumer goods sectors is seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the execution of marketing and brand initiatives across a diverse portfolio of businesses and brands.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys transforming strategy into impactful, measurable results.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of the group's marketing and communications activities across multiple business units, ensuring brand consistency, commercial effectiveness, and strong market visibility.
Working closely with operational teams, you will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, promotional activities, digital initiatives, and customer engagement programmes that drive growth, customer acquisition, and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business unit strategies into effective marketing and trade marketing action plans.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns, in-store activations, events, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Lead the creation and delivery of marketing and communications materials across print and digital channels.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging across all brands and business units.
- Manage digital marketing activities, CRM initiatives, customer journeys, and campaign performance reporting.
- Track key marketing metrics, analyse performance data, and optimise ROI.
- Lead and develop the marketing team while coordinating external agencies, designers, and suppliers.
- Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure effective execution across all channels and locations.
- Support the continued growth and positioning of the group's brands within their respective markets.
About You
You are an experienced marketing leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for delivering high-impact campaigns that drive business performance.
You will bring:
- Degree-level education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Marketing & Communications leadership role.
- Experience within FMCG, retail, food & beverage, consumer goods, wines & spirits, hospitality, luxury, or premium brand environments.
- Strong understanding of trade marketing, brand management, customer engagement, and campaign execution.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure performance and optimise marketing effectiveness.
- Experience managing agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
