Your Mission
Reporting to the Group Industrial Controlling Department, you will hold a key, high‑visibility position, working directly with industrial sites across France and internationally. At the centre of the finance organisation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, consolidation, and analysis of industrial performance data. Acting as a true conductor of financial cycles, you will ensure the quality of reporting while supporting operational teams in driving performance. You will be particularly involved in the GIMO (Global International Manufacturing Operations) scope, which includes 11 mid‑sized international manufacturing sites. In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted business partner to local teams and senior management, with a strong business‑oriented and cross‑functional dimension.
Responsibilities
Drive Group Financial Cycles Across the Industrial Scope
- Lead and coordinate key financial cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, month‑end closings, and reporting.
- Oversee the collection of financial data from manufacturing sites and ensure its accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
- Contribute to corporate closing activities and analyse performance variances.
- Identify anomalies, improve data reliability, and challenge underlying assumptions.
- Ensure the delivery of reliable and structured reporting, guaranteeing both timeliness and a high standard of information quality.
Business Partner for the GIMO Industrial Perimeter
- Analyse site performance and identify key improvement levers.
- Challenge local teams to better understand and improve their results.
- Proactively recommend optimisation initiatives related to costs, productivity, investments, and operational efficiency.
- Interact with international stakeholders within a multicultural environment.
- Play a key role in industrial strategic decision‑making and performance management.
Lead an International Controlling Network
- Coordinate and support a network of controllers located across multiple sites worldwide.
- Guide local teams in the preparation and delivery of financial data.
- Monitor deadlines, track progress, and follow up with sites when necessary.
- Support the development of local finance teams’ skills and capabilities.
- Act as a bridge between Group Finance and operational teams.
Enhance Tools and Processes
- Manage and optimise consolidation files and reporting tools.
- Participate in automation and process simplification projects.
- Challenge existing practices and propose more efficient and robust solutions.
Oversee Capital Expenditure (Capex)
- Lead the Group‑wide Capex cycle.
- Monitor site investment plans and ensure alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
- Supervise an apprentice responsible for the operational follow‑up of this area.
Your Environment
- Position based at the corporate headquarters in Libourne, France.
- Direct management of an apprentice.
- Daily interaction with the VP International Manufacturing Operations, site controllers, and industrial and finance leadership teams.
- Strong international exposure across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Your Profile
Experience
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in industrial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working within a Group structure, either in a single‑site or multi‑site organisation.
- Experience in manufacturing industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food & beverage, or automotive is an advantage.
Key Skills
- Strong mastery of financial cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, closing, and reporting.
- Ability to analyse, structure, and validate complex financial data.
- Good command of financial systems and reporting tools (experience with JD Edwards (JDE) is highly appreciated).
- Professional‑level English is essential in this international environment.
