Group Head of Treasury

Finatal is partnering with a private equity–backed manufacturing group with approximately c. €850m in revenues across more than 50 countries. The business is executing a high-growth value-creation plan and is seeking a Head of Global Treasury to join the senior leadership team, with full responsibility for the group’s treasury function, strategy, and execution.

This is a pivotal role for an ambitious, hands‑on leader with the technical expertise to optimise capital structures, deliver robust cash and liquidity management, treasury transformation, and play a critical role in the private equity exit journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Leadership

• Define and deliver a global treasury strategy aligned with PE value creation and exit objectives.
• Lead cash and liquidity management across 100+ markets, ensuring visibility, control, and efficient deployment.
• Manage debt facilities, refinancing, and lender relationships; optimise capital structure.
• Implement FX and risk management frameworks to mitigate currency and interest rate exposures.
• Drive the transformation of treasury systems, processes, and reporting to enhance control, efficiency, and insight, moving away from manual processes.
• Act as a strategic adviser to the CFO and Board on capital allocation, risk, and financing strategy.
• Provide treasury leadership on M&A, carve-outs, and exit planning, ensuring transaction readiness.

Key Requirements

• Significant experience in senior international Treasury leadership roles, ideally in PE-backed, Manufacturing/Industrial businesses.
• Proven track record managing liquidity, debt, FX, and risk across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong experience in creating and transforming treasury functions.
