Group Finance Leader – Software Businesses (France)

Volaris Group is recruiting a Group Finance Leader to support a cluster of three autonomous software businesses in France (€15m Net Revenue, ~80 employees).

This is not a traditional corporate finance role.

The successful candidate will start by taking direct ownership of the finance function of one business, before progressively expanding their scope across multiple entities as a Group Finance Leader.

This one starts in the business.

You will first act as the Finance Leader of one software company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• monthly closing and reporting;
• IFRS-based adjustments and analysis;
• budgeting and forecasting;
• working capital and cash flow management;
• business partnering with the local leadership team;
• identifying weaknesses, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

After building operational credibility, your role will progressively expand to:

• reviewing and challenging the financial outputs of other businesses;
• improving finance processes and reporting quality;
• acting as a finance quality gate across the group;
• functionally supporting Finance Leaders across multiple entities;
• supporting acquisition integration activities;

The role combines execution, review, challenge, and leadership.

What we're looking for

We are less interested in titles than in capability.

You are likely to have:

• Minimum 3 years of external audit experience (Big4 or equivalent) – mandatory;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Finance Leader, Head of Finance, Finance Director or CFO with full ownership of the accounting, reporting and finance function – mandatory;
• Strong accounting and IFRS knowledge;
• Experience working in multi-entity environments;
• Ability to operate under very tight reporting deadlines;
• Proven ability to review, challenge, and improve financial outputs;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Strong English communication skills.

Experience in software, SaaS, or recurring revenue models is a plus.
