Position Overview
The Group Finance Director will lead the overall financial strategy and management of a diversified portfolio of businesses, including sectors such as hospitality, food & beverage, and lifestyle-related operations.
This role is responsible for building and optimizing a group-level financial framework, including capital structure, governance, and risk management systems. As a key member of the leadership team, the position will support long-term growth initiatives and regional expansion across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a unified financial management framework across multiple business units
- Lead group-level financial consolidation and reporting
- Implement internal controls and audit processes
- Drive financial digitalization and data monitoring systems
Business Performance & Profitability Management
- Oversee P&L across all business segments
- Optimize cost structures and margin performance
- Develop and standardize unit economics across different business models
- Drive EBITDA growth and profitability improvement
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Design and optimize capital structure and financing strategies
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Support funding strategies for investments and expansion
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Monitor and control key cost drivers, including labor, operating expenses, and cost of goods
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and management
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local and regional financial regulations
- Optimize tax structures at the group level
- Manage cross-entity tax planning and reporting
- Oversee audits and regulatory engagements
Strategic & Investment Support
- Participate in strategic planning and major investment decisions
- Conduct financial feasibility analysis for new initiatives
- Support regional expansion planning
- Design long-term incentive and equity programs
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles
- At least 5 years in a group-level or multi-entity environment
- Proven experience in financial consolidation and integration
- Strong expertise in cash flow management and risk control
- Solid understanding of European financial and tax frameworks
Preferred
- Experience in hospitality, F&B, or lifestyle-related industries
- Exposure to capital markets, financing, or investment activities
- Experience in cross-border business environments
