Role
The Group COO plays a central role in the operational governance of Maestro. Working closely with the founders, you will oversee several Business Units across Europe or Asia, ensuring strong execution, operational discipline, and alignment across the Group.
This role combines:
- Industrial operations leadership
- Multi‑site management
- Organizational structuring
- Project leadership
- Client‑oriented execution
We are looking for a highly operational leader, capable of driving performance while bringing structure, processes, and scalable organization to a fast‑growing international group.
This is a field‑oriented role requiring frequent travel across Europe and internationally.
Key responsibilities
Drive Business Unit performance- Oversee performance across several Business Units (KPIs, profitability, delivery, quality, organization)
- Lead regular performance reviews and ensure action plans are implemented
- Anticipate operational risks and support problem resolution
- Ensure operational discipline and reliable execution across entities
- Oversee development, production, planning, and delivery performance
- Support complex operational or client situations when needed
- Ensure high standards in quality, timelines, and execution
- Identify inefficiencies and solve operational bottlenecks
- Strengthen processes, organization, and management routines across the Group
- Lead transversal projects across our 5 entities (i.e. ERP deployment, operational performance, social and environmental audits, structuring projects)
- Support implementation of tools, standards, and best practices
- Help build a more scalable and reliable operating model while maintaining agility
- Challenge and support local GMs on performance, organization, and team structuring
- Drive accountability and ownership at Business Unit level
- Contribute to key organizational and people decisions
- Work closely with Group functions to maintain coherence across entities
- Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and qualitative execution
- Support business development through operational credibility and client understanding
- Ensure Maestro’s standards of service, reliability, and responsiveness are consistently delivered
Profile
- ~20 years’ experience in textile, strong industrial/manufacturing and operational background
- Experience managing multi‑site or international operations
- Strong understanding of production, delivery, and client‑driven environments
- Experience in premium or luxury industries is a strong plus
- Proven ability to lead complex and transversal projects
- Strong organizational and process structuring mindset
- Hands‑on, pragmatic, and solution‑oriented approach
- Ability to manage complexity and drive performance in fast‑moving environments
- Fluent English and good knowledge of French required
- Based in Paris or Brussels: proximity with the managing team and international airport
- Frequent travelling across Europe and internationally is required
