Group Accounting Manager
About The Job
We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Group Accounting Manager to join our international finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing group accounting activities, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting, and supporting strategic finance initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Group accounting activities across multiple entities
- Support external consolidation processes
- Lead the monthly closing process and coordinate the annual audit
- Support IFRS implementation across the Group
- Contribute to the integration of future acquisitions, including legal entity set‑up and finance transformation initiatives
- Monitor financial performance and ensure strong balance sheet quality
- Own and manage intercompany (Interco) processes
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls
- Lead and develop a small accounting team
Profile & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager within a multi‑entity, mid‑size international company
- Previous experience in an audit firm is a strong advantage
- Advanced Excel skills and solid experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Comfortable working in an international and evolving environment
- Fluent in Languages: French and English
Location & Travel
This position can be Hybrid (Flexible Working From Home: FWFH) in consultation with your manager. The position will be based in Caen, France. Occasional travel to our other locations in Europe may be required.
