Scope & Responsibilities
The Industrials team at Houlihan Lokey is looking to add a Graduate Financial Analyst in Paris. The environment is collegial and entrepreneurial, encouraging creativity and new ideas while teamwork is essential. As a Graduate Financial Analyst, you will focus on M&A transactions, with exposure to private placements of debt and equity, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts.
As a Graduate Financial Analyst, you will:
- Prepare, analyse and help explain historical and projected financial information
- Create financial models
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
- Conduct research on sectors, companies and potential buyers
- Value companies and businesses
- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Assist in planning of engagements
Qualifications
The ideal candidate thinks strategically, is motivated, detail oriented, creative, outgoing and possesses excellent quantitative skills. If you have the following qualifications and experience, we’d love to hear from you:
- A strong academic track record from a highly regarded university – having completed your final university assessments in 2025 or 2026.
- Minimum 6 months internship experience in M&A or another similar role, with experience or knowledge in the Industrials sector favourably regarded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both English and French.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications.
- Proficient skill in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
