GNSS Field Application Engineer EMEA

We are looking for: GNSS Field Application Engineer

We are looking for a GNSS Field Application Engineer to provide technical support for EMEA customers and actively support pre-sales and post-sales activities in close cooperation with GNSS Product and Sales teams. In this role, you will deliver customer-focused GNSS solutions, share technical expertise internally, and ensure continuous feedback and issue tracking throughout the support lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsibility for EMEA GNSS customers technical support
• Assist GNSS PDM/Sales to promote GNSS products, throught pre-sales and post-sales activities
• Provide tangible feedback and feasable Quectel solutions to customers, according to their applications
• Prepare weekly technical reports indicating the support activities and open issues progress
• Provide technical knowledge sharing and within team trainings

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Marketing, or related field
• GNSS related development or customer support experience
• Strong knowledge of GNSS technologies and standards, and familiarity with GNSS performance metrics: TTFF, accuracy, multipath mitigation
• Proficient in using GNSS evaluation tools (u-center, LabSat, Spirent, etc.), analyzing GNSS data and locating root cause
• Ability to read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets
• Familiar with USB driver, AT commands, SMS, Voice, TCP/IP processing etc.
• Experience with serial interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C), power management, and RF layout best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer support and training
