GLP/GLA Certification consultant, member of supervisory board

We are looking for an experienced GLP/GLA certification expert to join our Supervisory Board's specialized committee and provide strategic, independent advisory support to company management on laboratory quality and compliance.

About the role

This is an advisory and oversight position, not an operational one. The expert provides independent, high-level guidance to management on laboratory readiness for certification and accreditation, while the company's internal teams remain responsible for executing audits, preparing documentation, and liaising directly with certification bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advisory support to company management on laboratory compliance with GLP/GLA principles and readiness for certification/accreditation
• Conduct independent expert assessments (advisory review) of the laboratory quality management system and recommend improvements — without personally performing audits or certification procedures
• Review and provide strategic guidance on documentation and procedures prepared by the internal team for certification by national and international bodies
• Offer advisory support on communication with certification bodies, regulatory institutions, and external auditors (without directly performing these functions)
• Share international experience and best practices with company management and quality specialists
• Monitor trends and changes in international standards (OECD, ILAC, ISO/IEC 17025, etc.) and recommend strategic adaptation of internal company policies

Candidate Requirements

• Higher education in chemistry, biology, agronomy, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, xuezdbg or related natural sciences
• At least 10 years of experience in laboratory quality assurance, certification, or accreditation within multinational crop protection product (agrochemical) manufacturers in the EU
• Proven knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) principles and experience preparing laboratories for GLA accreditation in EU countries
• Experience serving on corporate governance/supervisory bodies (Supervisory Board, Board of Directors) is an advantage
• Knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and OECD GLP requirements
