GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER - SKF Automotive Business

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring product availability for customers across a dedicated product assortment (Engine, Chassis, Heavy Duty) by planning volumes and inventory based on sales forecasts, order backlog, supply, and capacity.

The Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for achieving the Supply Chain objectives of the assigned product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and translate sales forecasts in collaboration with Sales teams or the Product Line Manager.
• Analyze and update sales forecasts.
• Establish sufficient inventory coverage to ensure production and customer service while avoiding excess or obsolete stock.
• Manage production launches for the assigned product assortment(s) and adapt them according to events and unforeseen circumstances.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data and parameters across the various IT systems for the assigned product assortment.
• Contribute actively to improving existing processes and developing new processes within the Supply Chain team or through cross-functional workshops.
• Coordinate specific transportation arrangements with Logistics, Sales, or suppliers.
• Act as the key point of contact for Customer Service and the Sales team.
• Resolve order-related issues with Customer Service and Sales.
• Participate in business projects related to the assigned product assortment, including ramp-ups, ramp-downs, and new business.

Requirements

• You have experience in Supply Chain and are familiar with XA, SIM, and SO99+ systems.You are proficient in other IT tools, such as Power BI and Excel, which support you in data analysis.
• You have a strong customer focus.
• You are fluent in English, enabling you to communicate on a daily basis with internal and external international contacts.
• Your communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with your various stakeholders, including Purchasing, Production, Quality, Suppliers, Sales, Controlling, and Customers.
• Your rigor, initiative, teamwork skills, perseverance, and autonomy will enable you to succeed in this role.
