Scope

We are hiring a Global Sourcing Manager for the corrugated category to join our Global Procurement Organization based at Lactalis Headquarters. You will directly report to the Global Sourcing Categories Director – Packaging Paper, and you will lead the corrugated category with one direct report to manage procurement for the group across all worldwide divisions (Annual spend value ~ €300M).

Your Mission & Challenges

• Build and push to execute global strategies for the corrugated category while leading a functional network of 10+ local / regional purchasing teams.
• Define, drive and optimize our supplier portfolio and monitor their performance.
• Participate in the budget (commodities assumptions and saving plans).
• Maintain an active innovation watch.
• Be part of Lactalis sustainable roadmap.
• Lead the corrugated packaging action plan in new acquisitions to identify quick synergies to support Lactalis Group growth.
• Deploy best practices within the group by active benchmarking.
• Manage and develop 1 Global buyer (direct report) in charge of Global packaging categories.

This position requires frequent travel abroad (Europe and beyond) about 30% of the time.

What is essential for us?

• Good communicator, team spirit, entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Category strategic vision.
• Strong negotiation and project management skills.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in procurement/direct materials sourcing and management.
• Good understanding of packaging or paper materials would be a plus.
• Languages: English fluent; French would be a plus.
