The Unilever Future Leaders Program (UFLP) is a global initiative enabling Unilever to build a strong talent pipeline that will support and lead our business growth. UFLP is a 36-month rotational leadership development program for which we recruit top-performing undergraduate talent who demonstrate the potential to become managers within our business within 3 years. It’s designed to grow you into a manager, through hands-on learning alongside world-class experts. You’ll be hired into a function and develop your leadership skills by working on live projects which offer you all the experience you need to become ready for your first management role. What will the programme involve?
During the programme you’ll get to undertake placements in both Sales and Marketing divisions. In Sales, you’ll build partnerships with a wide range of our customers, which can include distributors, supermarkets, convenience stores, and even e-commerce. This will help us reach our target markets, which could mean working together to maximize a new product launch, recommending the right range of products or negotiating an annual business plan.
- Chef de Secteur/Field Sales Specialist (mandatory to understand the roots of our industry)
- Category Manager
- Key Account Manager (retail, e-commerce…)
- Product Manager
Who are we looking for?
No specific degree background is required, as this is an area where your personality will set you apart. Candidates must be fluent in both French and English, and should be either fresh graduates or professionals with no more than two years of experience. A valid French driving license is mandatory.
The role requires a unique combination of ambition, strong interpersonal skills, and commercial acumen. You should be credible and confident when interacting with others, with a clear passion for growing businesses and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong logical thinking, ambition, as well as solid organizational and analytical capabilities, coupled with a good head for figures.
In addition, flexibility regarding location is essential, as rotations throughout the program may take place across different areas.
