Global Procurement Transformation Project Lead

Overview

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join their team in KL, Malaysia, on a 12-month contract.

• 3 days in office/ 2 days wfh

The Global Project Delivery Manager, is a pivotal role, driving the programmes and projects that support our clients critical processes of Strategy, Demand, Sourcing and Contracting primarily for our global 'Compass' (Salesforce) platform with a 1000+ user base.

This role requires outstanding programme management skills as well as strong influencing skills to bring multi functional and multi location teams together to successfully deliver. The right candidate will be an experienced project manager, a strong self starter looking for a challenging but rewarding role. Strong project management skills and a curiosity to understand and improve our clients processes and experience to our stakeholders is key.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead one or more global procurement transformation projects, encompassing Salesforce, SAP Ariba, SAP ERP, SAP S/4 HANA and other legacy applications.
• Apply outstanding project management methodology to drive successful delivery.
• Ensure all project management deliverables are in place, documented and managed (e.g. charter, plan, financials, governance, progress updates, risk register, change log, action plan) within the agreed project framework (e.g. ADO etc).
• Develop, drive and maintain a workplan for the program / initiative and ensure delivery to that timeline considering impact on resourcing and budget.
• Drive delivery of project timely, within budget and to agreed quality ensuring goals for customer satisfaction/ business/ project requirements are met.
• Ensure appropriate governance, stakeholder engagement and communication are in place and handled appropriately to ensure project success, and where appropriate across related projects.
• Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Proactive management and resolution of risks and issues with appropriate escalation.

Qualifications

About you:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field
• Appropriate Project Management qualification

Experience & Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of project management experience with specific experience in procurement, supply chain, source to pay and/or ERP/business/digital transformation
• Experience leading multiple projects and complex stakeholder groups
• Source to Contract deployment experience in large global organisations
• Solid experience in project management, technology (Agile, Salesforce, SAP Procurement, S/4 Hana) and domain (procurement, strategy to contract, purchase to pay)
• Industry certifications around project management (ICP Agile/PMP), technology SAP (MM, SRM, Ariba) and domain (CSCP, CPIM etc.) Should have experience in transformational digital change across multi-disciplined global teams.
• Practical experience applying project management methodology to deliver projects successfully
• Experience delivering in a diverse, multi-cultural environment with project delivery teams and stakeholder located across different countries primarily Malaysia, India, Hungary, United Kingdom and North America.
• Strong program coordination, administration abilities, attention to detail, systemic thinking, problem.
