Context
As part of the acquisition of the Actuation business from Collins Aerospace, Safran Electronics and Defense has engaged an important set of transfers of work projects on MRO activities. It consists in transferring into Safran shops the Actuation MRO activity carried out by 6 Collins Aerospace shops across the world.
In order to reinforce the structure and control of that complex project, a Global PMO MRO transfers position is opened.
Mission
The Global PMO – MRO Transfers is responsible for defining, implementing and steering the project management framework and practices for worldwide MRO transfers within the Transfer Factory.
The role provides central visibility and control of the transfer portfolio, ensures adherence to transfer standards and governance, and secure value creation deliverables.
Key Responsibilities1. Secure worldwide project management- Consolidate and monitor planning (including critical path and fever charts), budget, risks and progress reporting through the Transfer Factory. Assess and implement the methods and tools required to efficiently control MRO transfer projects centrally. Develop and maintain worldwide transfer KPI & dashboards providing visibility and focus on key areas / actions / risks. Drive continuous improvement and adaptation of project management tools as projects progress on the execution phase.2. Enhance transfer execution standards Enhance and cross-fertilize transfer projects standards across project teams (local governance, management rituals, monitoring tools, …) Ensure process compliance including FDR implementation and Gate Reviews. Strengthen and structure the relationship and interfaces with Collins. Assess Golden Rules deployment and monitor progress. Drive active risk management at worldwide project level, including SMS.3. Control aftermarket synergies Refine and update ASA transfers synergies calculation Track and align synergies generation with the various MRO receiving sites and finance leads Steer other aftermarket synergies streams
- Engineering or Business degree. Significant experience in project management, industrial transfers, MRO, aftermarket operations. Strong knowledge of planning, project controls, risk management and KPI monitoring. Experience working in international and cross-functional environments. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
