Position Overview
The Global Planning Data Specialist is responsible for elevating and harmonizing planning data & performance across all Softgoods Business Units and regions. By structuring reliable data, clear analytical frameworks and actionable dashboards, this role drives process excellence to improve inbound visibility, anticipate risks, secure availability for strategic commercial moments, and enable fast and consistent decision‑making. The role acts as a central control tower and requires strong transversal leadership, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate closely with Global Transportation, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Merchandising and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound Transportation Control Tower & Priority Management
- Design, deploy, and animate a transport inbound control tower to improve shipment visibility and support data‑driven decision‑making for leadership teams.
- Support transportation budget construction and animate budget tracking follow‑up consumption in collaboration with finance teams.
- Ensure global data alignment and projections to support logistic network capacity design.
2. Forward‑Looking Order Delivery Performance (ODP) Ownership
- Own the forward‑looking ODP dataset and process animation, ensuring clarity on risks and opportunities for future deliveries.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning to align supply constraints, prioritization rules, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning and Merchandising Deployment to inform regions of projected performance and support mitigation plans.
- Develop proactive reporting and escalation processes to secure best service levels in the regions.
3. Data Analyst Support for Global Planning in Regional SOE Meetings
- Prepare and analyze global datasets to support global planning discussions in regional SOEs.
- Ensure alignment between demand plans and supply availability with a focus on key commercial activations, including product launches and brand moments.
- Support data‑driven communication loops between regions and global teams to mitigate risks and maximize service levels.
4. Inventory Clearance Follow‑Up and Analysis
- Monitor the global inventory clearance strategy execution for all Softgoods categories (Footwear, Apparel, Bags, Accessories).
- Ensure alignment with Finance guidelines and company margin targets, and report progress while alerting Merchandising and Planning for regional animation and escalation.
- Establish governance mechanisms and reporting to ensure timely and consistent execution.
5. Dashboarding & Data‑Driven Governance
- Create, deploy, and maintain dashboards and data models enabling efficient steering of supply and demand planning activities.
- Use Power BI to independently build automated, scalable, and insightful reporting solutions ensuring consistent and reliable data.
- Support global and regional teams in adopting these tools and promote a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain , ideally in planning with a strong data analytics background.
- Strong understanding of inbound logistics flows, ODP, and S&OE/S&OP processes.
- Experience in multi‑region or global environments is a strong advantage.

- Prior experience in SOE animation (or S&OP/S&OE cycles) is a plus.
- Solid project management ability, including cross‑functional and multi‑region initiatives.
