Global HR Operations & Payroll Manager
Kurmi is an international technology company that develops software solutions that automate provisioning and management of users on Unified Communications (UC), collaboration and contact center systems.
Our centralized software (SaaS) platform named Flow allows enterprises and large organizations to manage large user populations on UC systems with required governance, integrated with other related IT systems, and with the efficiency of end-to-end workflow automation. Mostly commonly, Kurmi's Flow software is used to onboard, management, and offboard users, their licenses and their private data.
Kurmi employs 100 people and serves 180+ large organizations with, in aggregate, over 4 million users worldwide.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global HR Operations & Payroll Manager to join our HR Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping and scaling our global HR operations. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving HR policies, processes, and best practices across multiple countries, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and an outstanding employee experience.
This is a highly visible role with significant international exposure, requiring strong expertise in HR administration, payroll management, HR compliance, people operations, HR analytics, and HRIS administration.
Global HR Administration & Payroll
- Manage and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes, leveraging our HRIS Lucca to deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Oversee all employee administration and payroll activities across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Coordinate and monitor mandatory statutory declarations and filings with relevant authorities.
- Ensure a high level of service and responsiveness to internal stakeholders and employees.
- Maintain and update employment contracts, HR documentation, policies, and employee records.
- Act as the guardian of HR compliance, ensuring consistent application of internal policies and employment regulations.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers, benefits vendors, and HR service partners.
- Monitor changes in labor regulations and ensure ongoing compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of global HR processes and operational workflows.
HR Controlling, Analytics & Reporting
- Develop, automate, and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Produce mandatory social and regulatory reports (Gender Equality Index, BDESE, workforce reporting, etc.).
- Define, monitor, and analyze HR KPIs in partnership with the CHRO.
- Contribute to ESG and CSR reporting initiatives, including UN Global Compact reporting and other sustainability‑related metrics.
- Support workforce planning and organizational reporting needs across the business.
HRIS Administration & Digital HR Transformation
- Serve as the primary administrator of the Lucca HRIS platform.
- Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy of employee records within the HRIS.
- Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, and system configurations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through automation and digitalization.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to continuously improve HR systems and reporting capabilities.
- Support HR technology projects and future HRIS enhancements.
Workplace Management, Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and maintain all mandatory workplace postings and documentation.
- Manage relationships with Occupational Health Services and coordinate employee medical examinations.
- Maintain and update key health and safety documentation, including risk assessments, prevention plans, and internal regulations.
- Coordinate mandatory health and safety training programs, including fire safety, first aid, and risk prevention initiatives.
- Oversee mandatory inspections and maintenance of safety equipment and facilities for the Boulogne office.
- Coordinate IT equipment inventory management in collaboration with the IT team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, and HR Administration, including internships and apprenticeship programs where applicable.
- Proven experience managing payroll processes in an international and/or multi‑country environment.
- Strong knowledge of French labor law and HR administration practices.
- Solid understanding of the Syntec Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, ideally Lucca.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools.
- Experience managing external payroll vendors and HR service providers.
- Familiarity with HR compliance, statutory reporting, and employee lifecycle management.
- Professional fluency in both French and English is required.
