Job Description
As the Global Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will guide the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives, managing the evolution of a diverse ecosystem of SaaS and in‑house solutions. You will define the Global Enterprise Architecture Strategy, align platform and application strategy with business objectives, and lead a team of Solution Architects across 30 countries.
Responsibilities
Define Enterprise Architecture Vision
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework.
- Define target platform/application architecture, coordinate stakeholders, and select solutions that support company vision and strategic initiatives.
- Manage the application portfolio and related business capabilities.
- Build short‑term and mid‑term architecture plans with countries to adhere to the vision and support objectives.
Support Implementation of Strategic Transformation Projects
- Lead architecture framing to translate business needs into technical solutions and strategic initiatives; support RFP work when required.
- Define target architectures and oversee architectural aspects of initiatives.
- Ensure projects are executed efficiently and adhere to architectural standards.
- Build the decommissioning plan with stakeholders.
Ensure Cohesion Between Technical and Functional Parts
- Drive definition of business capabilities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business units, ensuring alignment of solutions.
- Facilitate integration across platforms and systems.
Driving Technology Innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess impact on operations.
- Promote adoption of new tools and methodologies to enhance productivity.
Establishing Architectural Governance
- Define and enforce organization‑wide architecture principles, standards, best practices, tools, policies, and governance.
- Ensure compliance with standards across all technology initiatives.
Facilitating Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with executive leadership to align strategies with business goals and provide insights for decision‑making.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Animate the Architecture Team
- Lead global and regional architecture teams and coordinate with country teams; chair the Architecture Council.
- Build, manage, and animate the community of Enterprise & Solution Architects.
- Implement governance to share the architecture vision across the organization.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Enterprise Architecture or related technology roles.
- Proven track record leading architecture teams and managing large‑scale transformation projects.
- Proven experience with the Azure ecosystem.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in bank, insurance, or payment services is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
