Our client is a leading international listed group embarking on a major transformation of its Finance organisation.

As part of this ambitious programme, the Group is seeking an exceptional finance leader to build and lead its future Corporate Finance function.

Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this executive will play a central role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic decision-making and designing a more integrated, efficient and scalable Finance operating model across an international organisation.

This is far more than a traditional accounting leadership position. It is an opportunity to combine technical excellence, organisational transformation and executive leadership while shaping one of the Group's most strategic Finance functions.

The Opportunity

Joining the Global Finance Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CFO and senior business leaders to drive the evolution of Corporate Finance across multiple international operations.

You will oversee a broad Finance perimeter including Financial Reporting, Accounting, Consolidation, Tax and Treasury, while leading a significant international organisation through an ambitious transformation programme.

Beyond ensuring operational excellence, your mission will be to simplify processes, strengthen governance, develop international capabilities and create a high-performing global Finance organisation ready to support the Group's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Corporate Finance organisation across Accounting, Financial Reporting, Consolidation, Tax and Treasur y (~100).
• Ensure the integrity, quality and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting under IFRS.
• Define and maintain Group accounting policies and financial governance standards.
• Support Executive Management and Governance Bodies through high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
• Drive the transformation of the Corporate Finance operating model by simplifying processes, strengthening controls and improving organisational effectiveness.
• Build a collaborative international Finance community across multiple regions.
• Develop leadership capabilities, governance frameworks and talent within the organisation.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and Transformation teams to deliver sustainable organisational change.
• Maintain trusted relationships with auditors, advisors and external stakeholders.

About You

You are an accomplished international finance executive with extensive experience gained within complex listed multinational organisations.

You combine deep technical expertise with the ability to lead large-scale organisational transformation and inspire high-performing international teams.

You are recognised for your executive presence, sound judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders while balancing governance, operational excellence and business performance.

Your Background

• More than 15/20 years' progressive experience in international Finance leadership.
• Extensive expertise in Accounting, IFRS, Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
• Proven experience engaging with Executive Committees, Boards and Audit Committees.
• Strong exposure to Tax and broader Corporate Finance activities.
• Experience leading complex international Finance transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated success building and developing international organisations.
• Strong people leadership within multicultural environments.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
