Global HCP Content Lead

Opella is challenging how self-care works for millions of people and is looking to build and lead its global HCP Content Engine. The role owns the Global HCP Design Hub, HCP creative standards, content operating model, and content production ecosystem, transforming a fragmented agency‑led model into a scalable in‑house capability that delivers faster, better, and more locally relevant content across all brands.

It serves as the bridge between Brand, Science, Omnichannel, Conversion, and local markets to ensure global content is not only created—but actually used.

Lead initiatives that advance our brands and strengthen our reputation worldwide. Embed sustainability, access and social impact into every decision and model a challenger mindset: question complexity, act with integrity and make things radically simple.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Build the Global HCP Design Hub
    • HCP campaign development
    • Modular content creation
    • Detail aids
    • Omnichannel assets
    • Educational content
    • Visual storytelling
    • Creative concept development
    • HCP innovation and edutainment
    Reduce dependency on external agencies while increasing speed, quality and consistency.
  2. Drive Creative Excellence
    • HCP Content Design Code
    • Creative review councils
    • Best‑practice libraries
    • Award‑winning campaign standards
    • HCP creative benchmarking
    Ensure HCP content is:
    • Scientifically credible
    • Attention‑grabbing
    • Memorable
    • Behaviour changing
    • Easy for reps and HCPs to use
  3. Accelerate Content Delivery
    • Content workflows
    • Production processes
    • Agency ecosystem
    • Design Hub resources
    • Modular content architecture
    Build an end‑to‑end content operating model that significantly reduces time from brief to market and drive content speed as a competitive advantage.
  4. Increase Global‑to‑Local Adoption
    • Ensure global content is used rather than recreated.
    • Design content to be: modular, localisable, omnichannel ready, rep ready, market ready.
    • Create strong feedback loops between global and markets to continuously improve relevance and adoption.
  5. Build HCP Content Capability
    • Partner with Advocacy Academy to elevate content capability across: Global Brand Teams, Zone Teams, Local HCP Teams, Agencies.
    • Build a common language around: Reach, Content, Conversion and the Opella HCP Content Design Code.

Experience

  • 12+ years in content strategy
  • 5+ years in HCP‑driven communications (consumer + HCP mix)
  • Proven track record managing cross‑functional content development at global level
  • Strong creative flare to build insight‑driven content plans for HCPs
  • Strong understanding of promotional/non‑promotional content boundaries
  • Skilled in modular content systems, localisation workflows and approval platforms (e.g., PromoMats, Veeva Vault)
  • Ability to manage agency partners and production vendors effectively
  • Clear communicator and collaborator across scientific, creative, and commercial teams
  • Global & Local market execution experience is a must.

Education

  • Degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Communications or related field.
  • Training in scientific content development or regulatory writing is desirable.
