Global Communication Specialist (F/H)
Main Functions
We are looking for a Communications Specialist to own the execution of corporate and portfolio communications across our channels. Reporting to the Global Communications Manager, you will be the operational engine behind our content: drafting, coordinating, and delivering with precision and consistency across a global, multi-portfolio structure.
This is a hands-on ownership role for someone who takes pride in quality, moves fast without cutting corners and understands that in a science-based B2B environment, every word carries weight.
This position might require traveling.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Content
- Maintain and execute the external newsletter end-to-end process in coordination with portfolio and regional teams.
- Perform quality assurance on all global corporate content outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand standards before publication.
- Work with our digital marketing coordinator on day-to-day website and blog content operations, applying brand guidelines and tone of voice consistently.
- Work with our global graphic designer to create lightweight graphics and visual assets for newsletters and other communications outputs using tools such as Canva.
- Support and execute internal communications initiatives including Town Halls, global corporate marketing SharePoint content and all-staff announcements.
Media Relations & Earned Communications
- Own monthly media monitoring digest, clip compilation and analysis across the industry landscape.
- Conduct ongoing research to identify proactive earned media opportunities across our portfolio.
- Draft and coordinate bylines, press release, and earned communications in alignment with corporate messaging.
- Maintain media lists and support interviews and event logistics.
Portfolio Communications Support
- Partner with portfolio marketing teams to deliver communications support within agreed frameworks.
- Apply communication templates and brand guidelines consistently across all portfolio touchpoints.
Asset, Performance & Production Coordination
- Lead the relationship with paid media agency on behalf of the corporate team; support the business unit with admin logistics with the agency.
- Monitor content and channel performance across owned platforms in collaboration with the digital marketing coordinator; identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
- Lead the organization and ongoing management of the photo library and digital asset systems.
- Coordinate photo and video projects including feedback rounds, version control, and file management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners to ensure smooth, on-time execution.
Technical Skills
Required- 4 to 6 years of experience in communications, content marketing or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B, corporate, science-driven communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, including familiarity with AP style.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
- Proficiency in Canva or equivalent design tools for producing communications-ready visual assets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Experience working within a matrix organization, coordinating across teams and functions without direct authority.
- Comfortable working across functions and cultures; proactive in driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information, pre-publication content, and media relationships.
- Professional proficiency in English (C1 level preferred)
Assets
- Background in agricultural, life sciences, or food industry sectors.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (such as WordPress), email marketing tools, or digital asset management systems.
- Experience with media monitoring platforms and basic content performance reporting.
- Additional language proficiency particularly French.
