Job Description
The Global Business Development Director is responsible for revenue growth and development of contract logistics activities. You will play a key role in defining and implementing the commercial strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and managing customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve contract logistics growth objectives in relation with Region and countries within the FMCG & Healthcare vertical.
- Identify and prospect new clients and potential markets.
- Analyse market and competition trends to adjust commercial strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments (solution design, marketing, operations, finance) to ensure an integrated and coherent approach to business development.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a similar position within the contract logistics sector in a multicultural environment
- Mastery of sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions based on factual information.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure to achieve set objectives.
