Global Account Manager – BNP | Banque, Finance & Assurance
Job description
Integrated within the Account Management organization and in close collaboration with the business and delivery teams, you will be responsible for designing and executing the global account strategy on BNP Paribas for the Banking / Financial Services / Insurance perimeter in France.
You will act as the single point of contact for the client on your scope and drive the growth, performance and coordination of all activities related to this strategic account.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a 3-year strategic account plan for BNP, with clear and measurable actions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across BNP entities (C-Level, IT, Digital, Risk, Compliance, Business).
- Grow the account through upsell, cross-sell, and expansion into new entities.
- Lead or coordinate RFI/RFP responses and major commercial proposals.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored, high-impact solutions using Amaris / Mantu capabilities.
- Monitor market and regulatory trends to continuously refine the account strategy.
- Coordinate internal teams (sales, delivery, recruitment, practices) across all involved brands.
- Pilot the P&L and key KPIs (revenue, margin, staffing, client & consultant NPS).
- Share best practices and contribute to the development of the Account Management community.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in consulting, IT services, or software.
- Proven success managing strategic accounts in Banking / Financial Services / Insurance.
- Strong business development skills: upsell, cross-sell, strategic expansion.
- Ability to build C-Level relationships and navigate regulated, complex organizations.
- Interest in financial services and transformation topics: IT, digital, data, cloud, compliance, cybersecurity.
- Leadership and coordination skills across transversal and international teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience managing P&L and tracking key financial KPIs.
- Master’s degree in business or engineering.
- Fluent in French; professional English required.
