About The Role
The Global Digital Director will be working on a major French CAC 40 stock exchange quoted company with a strong appetite for digital, that activates media campaigns in 30+ markets globally.
The role offers the opportunity:
- To manage a wide range of channels: programmatic (video, display, audio, DOOH, CTV) and social, but also SEA, influencer strategies and more.
- Build & develop learning curves against growing data ambitions, attention, as well as sustainability, which constitutes a core strategic challenge in a rapidly transforming business category.
Working directly with the Global Digital Lead and the Client Leadership Team, the Global Digital Director will be responsible for digital campaign strategy and planning, setup, follow-up for analysis, optimization recommendations and client communication.
She/he will play a key role as a conductor to bring all expertise together in building integrated digital activations that answer client objectives and ensure smooth launch across the different channels.
Working with the Global Digital Lead alongside different industry partners and expertise, she/he will have an essential involvement in preparing and rolling-out the testing roadmaps around key strategic pillars:
- Sustainability: set common goals and help reduce carbon footprint of our media activities
- Attention: ambition to measure and optimize our campaigns on a new media currency
- Data: identify cookieless opportunities and solutions to build future-proof strategies
The Global Digital Director will be working hand on hand with the members of the Client Leadership Team and will be attending regular internal meetings to be fully aligned on the operational tasks as well as the global client roadmap requirements.
We are seeking someone who has the ambition to continuously learn and develop, has an interest in all media and a strong digital background, that can help clients understand the key principles in media planning and holds high client service standards.
Position based in Paris, partly home working flexibility.
The role is decomposed in 3 main workstreams:
- Media strategy & planning: Once campaign brief is received, discuss with the client and Client Leadership Team to align and/or challenge brief elements and work with the different experts (social, programmatic, SEA, display teams) to build a coherent digital media strategy that fits on the global brand strategy. These campaigns require an agile way of working to be quickly actionable across the different platforms and channels, all the while leveraging past learnings and historic performance.
- Campaign set-up and launch: Once the media plan is approved, ensure the plan is properly submitted in the agency financial system. Coordinate with publishers, 3rd party suppliers (IAS, Attention & Sustainability partners) and Digital Ad Operation teams to ensure all campaign elements are correctly tracked and correspond to the media plan; make sure that the campaign is launched properly and communicate to the client and to the team members.
- Reporting, optimisation and finance: Operate the performance follow-up, produce weekly or bi-weekly reporting, suggest optimizations, prepare post-campaign reporting templates, and ensure budget reporting and invoicing accuracy.

- To build objective and transparent analysis of campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations to implement.
- Ensure fluid communication with the team members.
- Ensure accurate digital budget reporting and invoicing.
Skills/Experience
- 8/9+ years of experience in digital media planning and global digital media landscape.
- Solid understanding of ad operations and campaign implementation.
- Ability to build and present media recommendations to clients across all digital channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze results and present optimization strategies clearly.
- Ability to explain complex digital/tech solutions to clients.
- English fluent is mandatory (written & spoken).
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Good time management and project management skills, flawless execution, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Hands-on, problem solver, autonomous use.
- Be a team player and effective communicator.
