Job Title: Glazier

We are a reputable construction company located in Clairvaux and we are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier you will be responsible for installing repairing and replacing glass windows doors and other fixtures in residential and commercial buildings

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
• Install glass windows doors and other fixtures using appropriate tools
• Repair or replace damaged or broken glass
• Apply weather sealant around edges of glass to prevent leaks
• Read blueprints or specifications to determine installation requirements
• Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide recommendations
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on construction sites

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
• Physical stamina to lift heavy glass panels and work in various weather conditions
• Own transportation and tools preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in glazing preferred
• Valid glazing licensecertification
• Bilingual EnglishSpanish preferred

Salary $1000 per week 40 hoursweek
