Your work at IXO

Produce controlled speech and environmental audio for IXO language-data work.

Responsibilities

• Read supplied German sentences and English sentences with clear natural articulation.
• Record in a quiet office or a safely parked, stationary vehicle.
• Create specified environmental sounds, such as a seatbelt click, door/window movement or indicator, without moving the vehicle.
• Check sound quality and submit recordings with any requested written observations.
• Transcribe, annotate or evaluate supplied audio and organize labels or metadata under the instructions.

Profile

The preferred profile is native-level German, clear pronunciation and English at B2 or higher. You need to follow linguistic and technical instructions closely, work independently and inspect both pronunciation and background sound. Prior AI work is not required.

Deliverables and pay

Outputs are speech recordings, controlled sound examples and any specified annotations. Recording-use, privacy and storage terms will be agreed before capture. IXO will agree the scope, schedule and review criteria before work begins.

Pay is $35 - $70/hr in USD. Work is remote.
