Generative AI Engineer (F/M)

Overview

Reporting to the Innovation Manager and being part of the Enterprise Architecture & Innovation Services at LDC based in Lyon, you will participate in our development in implementing Generative AI models for all the different LDC activities (trading, analysis, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM framework for standardization and ease the integration within various product lines
• Collaborate with Cross‑functions Teams: work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and domain experts to integrate generative models into diverse applications, ensuring seamless integration with ChatGPT APIs
• Optimize and fine‑tune Generative Models: implement optimization strategies to fine‑tune generative models for specific NLP use cases, ensuring high‑quality outputs in summarization and text generation
• Evaluate and improve Model Performance: conduct thorough evaluations of generative models, iterate on model architectures, and implement improvements to enhance overall performance in NLP applications
• Explore new use cases with ChatGPT APIs: experiment with ChatGPT APIs to explore and develop new use cases, leveraging their capabilities for innovative applications
• Leverage experience with AI frameworks, methodologies, and technical challenges faced by product teams to effectively communicate with engineers and drive product delivery
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in AI and NLP research and communicate effectively on it
• Contribute to the strategic planning of GenAI adoption within the organization
• Contribute to developing the AI culture by participating in different initiatives, such as AI Innovation challenges, hackathons, workshops, eLearning modules

Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 5 years of working experience in Machine learning/Artificial intelligence technologies
• Knowledge of applications of generative models in NLP projects, including examples of utilizing ChatGPT APIs for prompt engineering
• Knowledge of Transformers, BERT
• Good understanding of Product Management
• Expertise in Generative Model Architectures: strong understanding and hands‑on experience with generative model architectures, particularly GANs, VAEs, and expertise in working with ChatGPT APIs
• Proficiency in Python for model development, experimentation, and working with APIs like ChatGPT
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant frameworks for building and training generative models, including integration with ChatGPT APIs
• Problem‑solving and optimization
• Demonstrated ability to work on multi‑disciplinary teams with diverse backgrounds
• Experience in the financial sector, particularly in trading, is a plus
• Fluency in English
