General Practitioner

AMC Assist Global (AAG) is a highly specialized division of American Medical Centers, focused on medical assistance, operational healthcare support, and physician-led services across Europe, Middle East and Central Asia. AAG supports a wide range of medical programs and delivers high-quality patient care through its network of physicians, medical teams, and healthcare partners operating in both urban and remote environments.

As part of the expansion of AAG services, AAG is seeking motivated and experienced Family Physicians / General Practitioners to join our growing team for on-call home visits and online consultations, as well as in-clinic examinations.

Role Overview

The Family Physician / General practioner will provide high-quality primary care services through home visits for patients requiring immediate or scheduled medical attention. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, flexible, collaborative, and comfortable with and under the clinical governance of AAG.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-call home visit medical services for patients
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Prescribe medications, treatment plans, vaccinations, and preventive care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and medical reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive healthcare measures
• Refer patients to specialists or partner clinics when appropriate
• Coordinate care with nurses, therapists, specialists, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and local healthcare standards

Requirements

• Medical Degree with valid license to practice in Italy
• Experience in Family Medicine / General Practice
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills
• Flexibility to travel for home visits within assigned locations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
