General Manager – France & Belgium

Overview

I’m working on a senior leadership appointment for a global digital advertising and technology business with an established presence across France and Belgium. The company is seeking a commercially credible market leader who can deepen relationships directly with major brands and position the business as a strategic enterprise partner. Agency experience is valuable, but this appointment focuses on someone with genuine senior access to advertisers. Networks of particular relevance could include:

• Financial services
• Energy and utilities
• Home and garden

Responsibilities

• Leading the France and Belgium business and its next stage of growth
• Building relationships with CMOs, Marketing Directors and Heads of Digital
• Developing a more direct-to-brand and vertical-led commercial strategy
• Coaching senior commercial leaders and managing through managers
• Raising standards across enterprise selling, forecasting and execution
• Creating greater structure without adding unnecessary bureaucracy
• Acting as a visible spokesperson for the business in the French market

We are looking for someone with

• Senior leadership experience in AdTech, digital media or advertising technology
• Deep knowledge of the French commercial landscape
• A credible direct-brand network beyond agencies
• Experience growing an established business rather than only launching from zero
• Strong people leadership and change-management capability
• Executive presence, energy and genuine interest in representing the company externally

This is a substantial leadership role with an established team, significant existing revenue and the backing of a global organisation.
