We are on the lookout for a General Accountant Lead & Analyst to become a vital part of our General Ledger team. This role will serve as a crucial link between technical accounting, operational oversight, and the ongoing digital transformation within our organization.

What you'll do

• Oversee comprehensive accounting processes, which encompass accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and expense management.
• Conduct thorough analytical reviews to compare actual financial results against budgets and previous periods, identifying discrepancies and their impacts on the profit and loss statement.
• Facilitate the month-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate cross-team reporting, cost allocation, and compliance with internal control documentation as per SOX regulations.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at digital transformation, utilizing tools such as Dust, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Record-to-Report (R2R) solutions to create self-service dashboards and automate key performance indicators.
• Standardize accounting practices across the organization and develop integration kits to support our international growth.
• Serve as a business partner by converting complex accounting data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives and operational strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the accounting team.

Requirements

• A higher education degree in Accounting or Finance, such as a Master CCA, DSCG, Grande Ecole, or DEC.
• Between 8 to 10 years of experience in general accounting or auditing roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or technical management position.
• Previous experience in Big 4 firms at the Manager or Senior Manager level, or in rapidly growing international companies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (including standards 15 and 16) and French GAAP, along with a comprehensive understanding of SOX compliance.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, as well as familiarity with modern ERP systems.
• Proficiency in English at a C1/C2 level, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working in the Tech or SaaS sectors, particularly in multi-country settings.
• Familiarity with SAP or Coupa software.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau, along with experience in close management software.
• Practical experience with AI-driven accounting tools, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), or predictive modeling techniques.
• Understanding of corporate finance and consolidation processes.

Skills & tools

• Accounting: General Ledger, IFRS, French GAAP, SOX compliance, and Consolidation practices.
• Technology: Proficient in ERP systems, SAP, Coupa, RPA technologies, and AI agents, as well as OCR tools.
• Business Intelligence/Analytics: Experienced with Looker, Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
