General Accountant

Where will you work as a General Accountant (M/F) ?

We are looking for a General Acountant (M/F) for one of our clients in the energy sector, who will be based in Charenton-le-Pont.

General Accountant (M/F) : What will your duties and responsibilities be ?

As a General Accountant, you will join an accounting team working on a major strategic project to migrate to a new ERP system. You will play a key role, combining traditional general accounting responsibilities with active and essential participation in the company's transition to its new system. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintain general and cost accounting records (data entry, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Actively participate in monthly and annual closing procedures
• Participating in the correction and standardization of accounting data to ensure it complies with the requirements of the new ERP system
• Assisting the team during migration testing and validation phases to ensure the proper functioning of financial and accounting flows in the new system
• Ensuring compliance, data integrity, and the efficiency of accounting processes

What profile and skills are required for this position of General Accountant (M/F) ?

• You hold at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent qualification
• You have 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the industrial sector and are proficient in general accounting principles and techniques
• You are proficient in IT tools and accounting software (SAP, Google Drive, Excel, Magnitude, etc.)
• Knowledge of consolidated standards would be appreciated (IFRS 16, IAS 19, etc.)
• You have a professional level of English and French
