General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Monitor acquisitions, disposals, and impairment calculations
• Maintain fixed asset registers and coordinate physical inventory with controlling and relevant departments
• Accounting review and closing
• Perform monthly account reviews and variance analysis
• Actively contribute to monthly and annual closings: prepare financial statements, record and justify closing entries
• Prepare tax returns (VAT, DEB, CVAE, Corporate Tax, etc.) in collaboration with another team member
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and analyze discrepancies
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects such as ERP implementation in subsidiaries, process automation, and digitalization
• Technical environment: ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) and reporting in Excel (models, macros, analysis)

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in general accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Fluent French and professional level English
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics and advanced Excel
• Soft skills: accuracy, organization, analytical mindset, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work cross‑functionally
• Proactive approach and ownership of assigned scope
