In this role, you will be at the absolute forefront of the AI revolution, driving the adoption of our cutting‑edge Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) offerings—including the world‑class Qwen (Tongyi) LLM family, our PAI platform, and high‑performance GPU computing services.
You will act as the strategic bridge between Alibaba Cloud’s massive infrastructure and the vibrant European AI ecosystem, hunting for high‑growth AI startups, AI‑native scale‑ups, and enterprises undergoing massive AI transformations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Strategic Go-To-Market & Ecosystem Building
- Drive GTM Strategy: Develop and execute tailored go‑to‑market strategies for our AI/ML product portfolio specifically optimized for the French and broader European markets.
- Ecosystem Evangelism: Represent Alibaba Cloud at top-tier AI conferences, meetups, and elite tech forums across Europe, positioning us as the infrastructure partner of choice.
- Expand Networks: Forge deep partnerships with AI research institutions, venture capital firms, and incubator networks to build a robust referral pipeline.
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify, engage, and close deals with AI‑native companies and enterprises, managing the full, complex sales cycle from lead to contract.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Solution Architects and technical teams to craft bespoke technical proposals and high‑impact product demonstrations.
- Market Intelligence: Act as the voice of the European customer, gathering localized market insights to directly influence our global AI product roadmap.
What We Are Looking For
- Industry Experience: 3+ years of proven success in business development, B2B sales, or strategic partnerships within Cloud Computing, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS.
- The AI Edge: A strong conceptual understanding of AI/ML technologies (LLMs, Generative AI, and model training/inference workflows). You can speak the language of AI founders and CTOs.
- Track Record: A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding commercial growth targets and managing complex negotiation cycles.
- Local & Global Network: An existing network within the French/European startup ecosystem or enterprise digital transformation space is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English and French is mandatory. You are comfortable pitching, negotiating, and closing deals in both languages.
