Gas Trading Operations Specialist (f/m/d) based in Paris (part-/full-time)
Your tasks:In this position, you will oversee daily market operations and help guarantee the reliable and efficient execution of trading activities across our gas market products. As a key point of contact for trading participants, you will support customers with questions related to our trading venues, products, and operational processes. Your expertise and service-oriented approach will help deliver an excellent trading experience and foster strong customer relationships. A further focus of the role is the determination and validation of settlement prices in line with established methodologies and market standards. In addition, you will contribute to market surveillance activities by monitoring trading behavior and market developments to support price integrity, fair market conditions, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with colleagues across the EEX Group and external partners, you will build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate effective collaboration across different functions. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will actively participate in projects and strategic initiatives aimed at further developing and expanding our gas market offerings. This role offers the opportunity to gain deep insights into European energy markets, take ownership of operational processes, and contribute to the continued success and growth of EEX. You bring along:University Degree or graduate from an Engineering/Business School
Strong knowledge of commodity markets, particularly Gas Futures and Options
Solid understanding of exchange platforms and their operational mechanisms
Proficiency in IT systems and infrastructure
Ownership mindset with personal accountability and proactive engagement in projects
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
Flexibility combined with strong reliability
Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, in a business context. French and/or German is a plus
