Gas Installation Team Leader

Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled and safety-focused Gas Engineer/Team Leader to build and scale our gas installation operations across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing gas systems and appliances in residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. You will be responsible for managing installer networks, driving project delivery, and ensuring high‑quality, compliant installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a network of certified gas technicians and gas engineers (freelance & installation partners)
• Manage the end‑to‑end installation process (survey → planning → installation → commissioning)
• Ensure all work complies with current gas safety legislation and company standards
• Monitor contractor performance (quality, SLA, cost)
• Improve installation efficiency and deliver excellent service

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Gas Engineer or Heating Engineer
• Experience managing contractors/installer networks
• Valid Gas Safe Registration (PG certification in France)
• Strong execution and problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in French and English; Chinese is a plus
• Strong knowledge of gas systems, boilers, heating controls, and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Full valid driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Gas/heating background, PG certification, field‑based role involving travel to customer location with hands‑on installation experience
