This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most exciting game studios, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games within our collaborative Action RPG team.

What is the job about?

As a key member of the design team, you will take ownership of the game design. Focusing mostly on game design, you’ll also lead other designers working on combat, level, and audio, collaborating closely with all disciplines to achieve high standards. You will mentor teammates, review design work, and champion quality.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Leading, documenting, and sharing design direction with other departments
• Providing clear guidance to the design team aligned with the creative vision
• Partnering with Art and Technical teams to solve problems and enable the design team
• Overseeing and mentoring design team members
• Participating in recruitment to grow the design team
• Designing features aligned with the creative direction, including game systems, combat, enemy design, and AI behaviors
• Fostering an environment that encourages open dialogue and creativity

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in game development
• Excellent understanding of systemic gameplay
• Strong project and risk management skills

What do you need to succeed?

• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Team player with strong relationship-building skills
• Understanding that iteration enhances quality
• Autonomy and responsibility
• Patience, inclusivity, and a positive attitude
• Technical background (personal or educational) - extra
