Future Aircraft Overall Systems V&V Leader (m/f)
Job Overview
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Overall Systems V&V Leader (f/m) to join our Design Office in Toulouse, France. The role is part of the “Overall Systems V&V, Certification and Integration” team and will focus on the replacement of our Single Aisle family. You will collaborate with systems architects, designer teams, ground and flight test teams, and R&T teams to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall systems V&V activities for the Operate Aircraft (OPAC) perimeter, including ground and flight test demonstrators.
- Ensure that V&V needs are covered at the overall systems level by linking the five functional streams.
- Understand aircraft technical baselines, architecture trades, and technical risks identified for the overall system perimeter.
- Author High‑Level Validation and Verification Objectives (HLVVOs) to de‑risk identified topics.
- Coordinate with the testing and modelling community to translate HLVVOs into modelling and testing needs.
- Track simulation and test campaigns to provide an overall V&V status for the project.
- Maintain awareness of compliance risks and act with integrity to support the company’s success, reputation, and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Good overall knowledge of aircraft systems.
- Strong experience in aircraft systems or functions development (mono‑system or multi‑systems), within a Design Office or Testing organization.
- Good knowledge of the V&V process is an advantage.
- Proficient in English and French.
- Eligible for security clearance or required to obtain clearance from the recognized authorities.
