Job Description

You are joining AEW’s private debt multi-management team. You will work on large mandates investing in private debt funds. The fund controller works under the supervision of the director of private debt multi-management in close collaboration with the team of managers and the underlying fund managers.

On a daily basis, your responsibilities include:

• Participate in the structuring of FIA debt management funds and in the organization of financial flows, and maintain control of accounting records in connection with the external accountant.
• Supervise the daily/monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, positions, and operations with the custodian.
• Coordinate the production of annual accounts.
• Coordinate with the managers the preparation of investor reports.
• Conduct quarterly verification of the fund’s net asset value (NAV) and manage financial communications with investors.
• Calculate and verify management fee calculations and ensure payment is made.

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Holder of higher education, with at least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
• You master the management of private debt funds, financial accounting techniques, and financial modeling.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability, and you are organized with strong command of computer tools.
• You are rigorous, flexible, and recognized for your analytical skills and writing qualities.
• You master English at a C1 level.
