Fund Accountant

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and book asset transactions, including securities trades, cash movements, deposits and loans, derivatives (options, futures, and other financial instruments), bank transactions, and corporate actions.
• Process and record liability transactions, including investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and distributions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of portfolio positions and cash balances with custodian banks, sub-custodians, and other counterparties, ensuring the timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Monitor and investigate outstanding reconciliation items, prepare claims when required, and follow up until resolution.
• Calculate, review, and control Net Asset Values (NAVs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable procedures and deadlines.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in investment fund administration, particularly in fund accounting, combined with a strong interest in financial markets.
• Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous, with an open-minded approach and excellent teamwork skills.
• Excellent command of French and good proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
