Functional Architect, Discrete Manufacturing

• Serve as the SAP solution reference for the discrete manufacturing industry
• Build, structure, and evolve technical offerings tailored to discrete manufacturing
• Leverage lessons learned, assets, and demos to industrialize solution responses
• Monitor technology trends and drive innovation around SAP S/4HANA, Digital Manufacturing, BTP, and AI
• Contribute to responses to requests for proposals and ensure the technical content of proposals is robust
• Deliver solution demonstrations and develop presales kits
• Lead solution estimation and go-to-market activities
• Facilitate the transition from presales to delivery
• Maintain presales relationships with software vendors and keep certifications up to date
• Bring together and lead the internal solution community
• Collaborate with Vertical Leaders, Industry Leads, sales teams, bid management, architects, delivery teams, and delaware International
• Share best practices, lessons learned, and solution innovations

Requirements

• Proven SAP expertise in the discrete manufacturing industry
• Strong experience in complex presales, estimation, and solution demonstrations
• Good understanding of discrete manufacturing business challenges: production/MES, PLM, planning and supply chain, maintenance/EAM, quality, and traceability
• Proficiency in SAP solutions, including S/4HANA Manufacturing, Digital Manufacturing, and dedicated modules
• Ability to deliver demonstrations and prepare estimatesExperience structuring technical offerings
• Strong technical communication and training skills, along with effective vendor relationship management
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with Industry Leads and across teams
• Ability to operate in an international environment
• Fluency in English is essential
